AMEXIS CEO Christian Wild Participates in Panel Discussion at Start Rhein Neckar
Sept. 15, 2023

AMEXIS, an innovative company offering AI-driven production fine planning for medium-sized enterprises, proudly announces that its CEO, Christian Wild, will participate in this year's Start Rhein Neckar. Start Rhein Neckar is a respected conference focusing on innovation and entrepreneurship in the Rhein-Neckar region.

In a recently conducted interview, Christian Wild discussed his extensive experience as a consultant and project manager in production and revealed his motivation for founding AMEXIS. "Often, there are rough schedules or anticipatory plans for the next 2-4 weeks. But once the shift starts at 6:00 AM and the first 30 minutes have passed, the situation can change," he explained. "Sometimes a station takes longer, or materials cannot be delivered. That's why I wanted to provide a tool that supports production managers in such situations. They should quickly receive feedback on the impact of delays and how current workstations and resources can be utilized to optimize lead times and meet deadlines."

AMEXIS sees itself as a planning tool for production and shift managers, the heroes in production. The idea behind AMEXIS is to contribute to increasing resilience in production by enabling real-time planning and optimization.

The challenges that AMEXIS addresses are diverse. As a young company, it is working to gain the trust of medium-sized enterprises, especially in the field of AI. This is supported by gradually introducing users to the software through pilot projects and providing training and support. Additionally, AMEXIS has built its software in a highly modular manner to integrate different data models and ERP systems, serving as a service for existing production systems such as MES.

Currently in the implementation phase, AMEXIS has already successfully launched a pilot project. The goal for the coming year is to further establish itself as an intelligent planning tool for medium-sized businesses and implement additional customer projects.

Mr. Wild also mentioned some significant milestones on AMEXIS' journey to independence, including 100% self-financing, his participation as a speaker at the World AI Conference in Shanghai in July 2023 as part of a delegation trip by the state of Baden-Württemberg, AMEXIS being included in the list of most promising startups in Germany, and being ranked among the top startups in the production category.

Furthermore, AMEXIS is open to collaborations and research projects and is currently working on such a collaboration with an institute to address innovative topics.

Mr. Wild is happy to offer advice to founders, "stay alive, don't quit, move forward" – an encouragement he draws from a book that reflects his own path to success in founding AMEXIS.

AMEXIS looks forward to Christian Wild's participation in the panel discussion at Start Rhein Neckar and to shaping the future of innovation and entrepreneurship in the region. Start Rhein-Neckar will take place on Monday, September 18, 2023, in Heidelberg.
